Quick answer Our editorial policy puts readers’ safety first. We quote primary sources, date every fact, correct errors openly, never promote unlicensed gambling, and never write in a way that appeals to under-18s or encourages harmful gambling.
Our standards
- Accuracy: every statement of UK law or regulation comes from a primary source, linked and dated.
- Independence: commission never decides what we say or which licensed casinos we name.
- Safety: support information appears on every page. Pages aimed at people who have self-excluded carry no casino links.
- No unlicensed promotion: we never list, rank, review or link to operators that are not licensed by the Gambling Commission.
- Responsible language: no “risk-free” or “guaranteed win” wording, no suggestion that gambling solves money problems, and nothing designed to appeal to young people. The CAP Code says gambling ads must not be “of strong appeal to children or young persons”.
- Plain English: we write in UK English for readers who may be stressed or in a hurry.
